The Brown Orient Literary Journal

The Brown Orient is an independent arts organization & publishing house for women and queer folk from Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia & Western Asia. Their Literary Journal is released in semiannual issues in print and digital formats. Prior to this issue, the journal was published in standard book format - my goal was to redesign the entire journal in preparation to begin releasing issues in magazine format. I was responsible for the full editorial design including front/back cover and all interior page layouts for Issue 4, which is a 76 page publication featuring poetry, prose, art and photography. The text and imagery shown within belong to their respective creators.
